Greetings to the citizens of Cumberland County and Fayetteville, NC, and to the members of the Cumberland County Bench and Bar!
I am grateful for the opportunity to continue humbly serving as one of your Resident Superior Court Judges for Judicial District 14-A, Seat 1! Before Governor Josh Stein appointed me to the Superior Court bench in March of this year, I served unopposed as one of your District Court Judges for over a decade, where I presided over thousands of a variety of criminal and civil trials and/or court proceedings, to include specialty courts such as Adult Drug Treatment Court, Veterans Treatment Court, and Environmental Court! I am honored and humbled by the overwhelming support I have and continue to receive from the Bench and Bar and from throughout the community more broadly.
As a former District Court Judge, attorney in private practice for 16 years, Army lawyer with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG), state and federal prosecutor, and deputy sheriff, I bring a vast and deep base of experience to this very important, consequential and weighty work. I trust I can count on you for your full support going forward, as I strive to continue earning your confidence in the service I proudly render on behalf of the people of Cumberland County and Fayetteville.
